Erick Oh’s “Heart” [animated short] Author:   ·  November 8th, 2012

“Heart” is a short film created by the incredibly talented animator, Erick Oh. In the film, a heart falls from the sky, seemingly out of nowhere, which leads to an intense battle to keep this love. Awwe yes, how metaphorically true to life.

“Heart” was created while Erick was receiving his Masters in Fine Arts at UCLA in 2010 and was supported by the legendary Matt Groening (*ahem* The Simpsons – no big deal). The film also helped land Erick a gig at the infamous Pixar Studios (amazing)! With Erick part of the Pixar team, there’s no doubt we’ll be seeing more from him very soon!

I’d love to hear your various interpretations of this film. What did you get from it? What did the story mean to you? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
