Brooke Shaden is a 24 year old American photographer based in Los Angeles. She took up photography 4 years ago and hasn’t stopped creating since. She isn’t afraid to admit that editing is an important part of her creative process – her photos, halfway between dreams and reality, depict fantasy worlds. She says: “The thing that keeps me feeling most alive is creating new worlds through photographs”.
Brooke teaches workshops in the US and internationally (in England, Scotland, Germany), and also shares advice her blog. She recently published an interesting post on her blog titled 10 Pieces of Advice for New Photographers. Humbly, she reminds newbie photographers to find out what inspires them, to never compare themselves to anyone else, to be confident and to experiment. She writes: “Don’t be afraid to dream, and dream big.”
