A good friend of mine introduced me to Labyrinth Ear two weeks ago, and Humble Bones hasn’t left my head since. It was the title of the song that drew me in (Humble Bones? Right up my alley) but it was the song itself that made me fall in love with this duo. It really feels like a day doesn’t go by that I don’t listen to this song at least once. I really like the light/dark feeling of the track… the vocals are light and sweet, but the production can feel a little heavy at times. Its dream-pop feel (I’ve really been digging this genre lately, haven’t I?) puts me into a fun mindset, no matter where or when I listen to it. I think you’ll like it, too.

For a little extra fun, check out ultra dreamy Giraffage remix of the song below.

About The Author

I'm a music enthusiast. I live and play in Los Angeles and work wherever the city takes me, whether its miles east or west of my own little HQ in Franklin Village. I'm work in digital music marketing for some of your favorite musicians by day, and I'm a music supervisor and music editor & curator of this incredible site by night. When I'm not listening, I'm hanging with friends and enjoying all of the good things (food! drinks! art! fun!) this city has to offer. Mostly, though, music consumes my life, and I like it that way. :) spencerrjames.tumblr.com
