Les Misérables still has to come out this year….I don’t think I saw any good movies. Just okay. The one Rashida Jones wrote was pretty good.

I have 3 favorites; The Avengers for its action-filled superhero awesomeness Snow White and the Huntsman because it was a visually stunning, especially the scenes with the fairy sanctuary that I would love to visit Moonrise Kingdom because it was a quirky movie full of heart.

I saw plenty of films and it’s hard to choose but I’d say “Rust and bone” by Jacques Audiard because Marion Cotillard and her partner were very moving. It was like a documentary thanks to their natural play. So this is one of my favorites.

” What kind of bird are YOU?” so obviously my fav of the year(and beyond) is Moonrise Kingdom! Everything by Wes Anderson is gold and this one was no exception!
Tanya Badayos
I know it was released in 2011 but Hugo didn’t play in my town until this year. I really enjoyed the story
Otherwise, I have to say toss up between Pitch Perfect and The Hobbit.
There were a few, but I will have to go with Moonrise Kingdom, I LOVE everything that is to love about it, especially the script, but also the cinematography was outstanding, another Wes Anderson masterpiece.

That has got to be the Avengers. Call it mind control or bandwagon, it was indeed the movie that comes to mind coz we were all waiting for it ^_^ And until the DVD went out and you get to share it with those who doesn’t have a clue what it is all about ^^D
Favorite book though, is Perks of A Wallflower… thanks to someone who commented below. The movie didn’t leave a lasting impression though visually =)

I have a feeling Django Unchained is going to take my top spot once I see it. I didn’t see too many movies this year but my favorite right now would be Lawless. And End of Watch was great, too.

Happy to see our french movie “Intouchables” loved by people all around the world. This is an amazing movie! Go to see it please! Actors & music are amazing!
It’s pretty hard to choose one single film among the long long list. At the end of my previous sentence I just thought about DRIVE. Good cast, good story, good music but also good production. Everything is perfect in that movie. What do you guys think of it? Damn it, it’s a 2011 movie. I have to search for a new one.
Argo must be really good but I didn’t have time to see it by now. I heard many good things about it. Ben Affleck is an amazing actor & director.

Either Brave or The Perks of Being A Wallflower!

There have been so many good films released this year that it’s almost impossible to choose.
The Hunger Games? The Avengers (or Avengers Assemble, I should say, being British)? Lawless? Dredd 3D?* Any number of other films that other people have already mentioned? Impossible.
However…
If we’re allowed to talk about re-issues, it would have to be Lawrence of Arabia.
No question (yes, fine, it’s the longest film ever released with no speaking parts for women, but still, the pure filmwork involved…).
*I’m not joking, it was really good. I just wish they’d been able to afford the effects budget that the Stallone film had. One thing that actually got right was the look of Mega-City One.

Safety Not Guaranteed and Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. Safety Not Guaranteed was cute and funny. While Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close was amazingly emotional, it made me cry. Both were great movies.

I thought Silver Linings Playbook was fantastic! All the actors did a tremendous job and I walked away feeling overly satisfied with the film. Pitch Perfect, I have to say, surprised me by how funny and relatable it was.
